SMS & TCPA Disclosure

Telephone Consumer Protection Act Notice for Candidates

If you received an SMS from a company using Kyvora — this page explains your rights, who sent the message, and how to stop receiving messages.

Who Sent This Message?

Kyvora is a technology platform used by recruiting companies and staffing agencies (“Customers”) to conduct candidate screening. The SMS message you received was sent on behalf of a Kyvora Customer — a specific recruiting company or staffing agency that added your contact information to their platform.

Kyvora itself is a technology provider, not the originator of the recruiting outreach. The Customer who sent the message is responsible for obtaining your consent and for the content of the outreach.

Consent Requirement

Under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA, 47 U.S.C. § 227), automated text messages to cell phones require your prior express written consent. The recruiting organization that contacted you is required to have obtained your consent before initiating SMS contact.

If you believe you received a message without having provided consent, you should:

  • Reply STOP immediately to opt out
  • Contact the recruiting company directly
  • File a complaint with the FCC at consumercomplaints.fcc.gov

How to Opt Out (STOP)

Reply STOP to any message at any time.

  • • Replying STOP immediately opts you out of all further SMS messages from that organization.
  • • Your opt-out is recorded in our suppression system and honored across all campaigns run by that organization.
  • • You will not receive further SMS outreach after opting out.
  • • To re-subscribe, reply START.

Message Frequency and Costs

Message frequency varies by campaign. You may receive up to one message per day from a single recruiting campaign, with follow-up messages sent if you do not respond. Standard carrier message and data rates may apply. Kyvora does not charge you for receiving messages.

AI-Generated Messages

Messages sent through Kyvora are generated by an AI language model. Responses you send are processed by AI to continue the screening conversation. A human recruiter reviews the results of the conversation. If you wish to speak with a human recruiter directly at any time, say so in your reply and your request will be escalated.

Quiet Hours

In compliance with TCPA and FCC regulations, Kyvora enforces quiet hours on all outbound messages. No automated messages are sent before 8:00 AM or after 9:00 PM in the recipient's local timezone. Individual organizations may configure stricter quiet hours.

Your TCPA Rights

Under the TCPA you have the right to:

  • Revoke consent at any time by replying STOP or contacting the sender directly
  • Not receive automated texts without prior express written consent
  • Bring a private right of action for TCPA violations (statutory damages of $500–$1,500 per violation)
  • File a complaint with the FCC
